It’s about how a half blind, alone and poor became a dedicated, hardworking and persistent teacher who never gets tired of her student. This one is not just a typical teacher-student story. Definitely going to reread again and again every time I’m uninspired and feels like quitting. It gives me the “Ahhhhh~” feeling after reading it with tears in my eyes because I’m going to miss this buddy-book like a long lost friend.

This book is a very motivational, inspiring, encouraging and kinda challenging too. Overly inspiring that it made me a crybaby and a thought of, if could only see and exposed the potential of every person, we’ll be able to have a better present and future. It’s in third person point of view and the way the narrator describes is something that you’re kinda crave for more, and will able you to finish the book in just one sitting!Īs I read this, every page feels like a question that you can’t stop flipping another page to answer your questions. This book is about Annie Sullivan who became Helen Keller’s Teacher, what happened before they met, their life but excludes their love-life. Is Annie up to this incredible challenge? Can she dare to dream of accomplishing a miracle? This is the true story of Annie´s and Helen´s courage and determination to succeed. To Annie falls the incredible task of teaching Helen how to read, to write – to live a full life. The world is a dark and silent prison for little Helen. Even thought the odds were against her, she would never allow her handicaps to defeat her.

All alone and half blind, she grew up in a poorhouse with only her pride and determination to sustain her. For twenty-year-old Annie Sullivan, life had been one hardship after another.
